"We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. "The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre. "

"Easy to find, just off the A38 towards Bristol. The area surrounding pub is quite busy, as the pub is in a busy village centre. It’s also not a quint essential country pub, it’s a busy local hub. The staff were great from start to finish, really friendly and chatty, made us feel right at home. We chose the pub due to its location within walking distance to the Thatchers Brewery (30mins). It was an easy straightforward walk. The room was bright, clean and spacious. It had everything we need....

"We arrived after a night flight from Kos. Property was easy to find thanks to the email from our hosts. The accommodation was warm and welcoming, everything we needed for a one night stay. Lovely comfy bed, tea tray with biscuits. Soft towels and mini toiletries in the bathroom. Great communications from the owners via email. Would definitely stay again! "
