"The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly. "
"Lovely pub to stay at, wonderful beer garden at the back, food is excellent and only a short walk from Hammersmith underground, will recommend to other Aussie friends traveling to london"
"We were so happy to stay here. We had a situation with another property we booked and the VRBO team jumped in and got us set up with this property. The on site property managers were awesome and even got us into the property a little early. This was a wonderful location and really close to the Earl Street station. We would definitely come back here to stay."

"Quiet and clean. Negative, no breakfast, reception frequently unmanned - they need a bell not a phone number that goes to answer machine (don't they understand the basics of running a hotel?)"
"The hotel is in good condition and very clean. I felt the lobby to be cozy and inviting. The room and bathroom were on the small side but clean, modern and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable ones among the 3 hotels we stayed in during our recent trip to Europe. The staff was friendly and kind. There are different options neaby to grab a bite and an inexpensive, small but well stocked supermarket. Definitely recommend this hotel! "
"The hotel was great for our visit to London, to go to Wimbledon. Most everyone was very accommodating, except for Carmen. She actually deactivated our key card before check out!! "
