"So firstly this is a catfish property. The rooms do not have ocean view, that you see in the photos. That section of the property is not open to guest. The entire front of the house (the nice views) is like a families living space. I was pretty upset about this as the property is advertised as such and that’s a HUGE selling point. Secondly, the water does not get hot. It was terrible. And the water pressure was like a drizzle. The WiFi also did not work. The room is very nice, spacious and...

PUERTO AYORA

8/10 Bagus
"Property is well maintained, room is spacey bed is comfortable, breakfast was small but enough to start the day, downside the location it’s $2 taxi away to the main town and $2 back,no restaurants nearby, walking is not too comfortable as its dirt road up hill, and there are plenty options in downtown. Maybe won’t be as quiet. So choose your preferences. Eric at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, he can help book tours and taxi also make recommendations of the attractions and restaurants ,we tried The island grill he recommended and that was our best meal we had while we were there,we appreciate him lot. Thank you Eric"

Hotel Mar Azul

Hotel Mar Azul

8/10 Bagus
"The property is in a good condition nothing fancy but clean and walking distance to everything. We walk from the jetty and also to the airport. Fabian was informative and helpful. The complementary breakfast is simple but enough to start the day. Internet was slow in our room as we got the last room at the very back but it get better closer to the front desk, so if internet is very important for you, request room closer to the front area. All and all great stay."
