Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). "The Old Post House was exactly as we had envisaged. Full of character, perfectly positioned over the harbour and very comfortable. Shelley helpfully gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. Parking would have been a challenge had we not been the only ones staying, but there was room in the village. In high season it could be an issue, given the small size of the place. A great place to stay and highly recommended."

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"The room was large and well appointed. The amenities looked new and fresh. The restaurant provided a good variety at a reasonable cost. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and close."

"Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."
