"No signs for the exit in the ladies pool changing room, and nowhere to leave your room key, which activates your locker, if you can work out how to do it. Nice pool and jacuzzi though, rooms could do with a deep clean, but daily basics are done and it's comfortable. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with queries, rooms spacious and mine had a lovely view, plenty of (free) parking."

"Shower a bit too hot however I adjusted the hot/cold knob but didn’t work at all! Overall it was ok! "

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"We loved everything about our stay here. The staff was amazing! Easy to talk to, and always available for any questions we had. The rooms were great. Big room with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor."

"The breakfast was very nice but what let this place down was. the following. The continental breakfast wasn't included! Room was very clean. The bathroom was up two steps, which felt weird and the shower area had black mould on a couple of tiles. The floor was extremely uneven, it made us feel like we were on a ship that was listing! The bed was so hard, it felt like we were sleeping on a board. There was a hole in the floorboards covered up with carpet."

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "
