"It started out bad as the check in person was not very nice. She was just herding us through and we were the only people there. I had to remind her to give us a bottle of wine. It's too bad as we have always had a nice welcome there in the past. Everything else is perfect about this place. Room, location, friendly cleaning staff, and now a great breakfast is available. I highly recommend it!"

"Everything was clean. What stood out is the modern technology. It took a second to figure out certain things like the shower and the lights but it was refreshing and new. We loved everything about our experience. We’ll be coming back for the Rooftop restaurant."

"We always stay at the Royal York when in Toronto. The rooms and staff are always perfect and in the winter we always have great options for room service dining....although we did miss seeing the fish and chips on the menu this past visit. A stopover at the York is always a great finishing touch to our travels. Next visit will be this April for a game at Scotiabank Arena, can't wait!"

"Room was clean, staff very nice. My only complaint is they shld let the top 2 floors smoke since it smelled like smoke anyway. "
