"The location is excellent! It’s close walking distance to many tourist sites and museums in the city and close to the Maritime Museum bus stop. We loved the breakfast provided by the hotel and the Hygge coffee shop and bakery there. The spa was closed during our stay which wasn't great and we weren’t refunded the extra money we had paid for spa access. "This hotel was perfectly situated for all that we needed in Reykjavík. The fact that there is a bakery, a bar and restaurant connected to the hotel made for an exceptional experience. We also lucked into a night of jazz for free during our stay. Small things like the free chocolates and excellent coffee machines throughout the hotel as well as the beautifully appointed conference rooms and lounge areas just added to the experience. "The location was perfect. Although the courtyard had music until 11pm on the first night, it wasn’t terrible and we got past it by passing out from jet lag. The included breakfast was nice. "This was a lovely hotel, beautifully decorated in Nordic style and colours. We lucked out with a huge room with two separate sleeping areas as well as a sofa bed. It was kept warm which we appreciated given the early May weather, but with balconies both sides so that we could have fresh air if we needed it.
