"This was our third time staying at Hakone Gora KARAKU, and it’s still one of our favorite places in Hakone. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from Gora Station. We booked a room with a semi-open private onsen tub, which my wife really enjoyed. I spent more time in the public baths with sauna and steam (they switch each night). "Very wonderful stay, staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast and supper buffet had lots of variety. The onsite onsen was perfect for unwinding and the foot spa was a picturesque place for taking in the view. It’s location is a five min walk to the ferry and gondola station. "

"Beautiful hotel, but it was a bit of a walk from the bus station if you’re going into Hakone. Be sure to call the hotel to have a shuttle pick you up from the nearest shuttle stop, which is down the hill from the property. Stuff that was super nice although they didn’t know too much about the tourist bus lines-recommend getting a hug Kone 1 to 3 day pass if you’re staying longer.
