"The rooms were clean and spacious . The only issue was limited parking my first night but I was able to secure parking space on subsequent days."

"I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. The meal at our function was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pub attacked next to the hotel was lovely We sat. "The room was comfortable and clean, though the bathroom is dated. The air conditioning struggled on one of the hottest days of the year so far. The fitness centre and pool are excellent facilities, and breakfast was great, though the evening dining menu was limited, with average food quality. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly."

"Redwing was v clean and the staff v helpful. However, it was advertised as having a snooker table and games in a have room but there was only a fruit machine. Also the air conditioning in the bar/dining area didn't work. Although there was a bar with gin, there was no tonic!!! It was an extremely hot week and the bedrooms were very hot but the fans provided did little to help.1 of the beds in the twin room really needs a new mattress as it was completely sunken in the middle and I would suggest...

"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"Our room had no air conditioning and was above the kitchen, which made us both noisy and uncomfortably hot. The children really struggled to sleep, which meant no sleep for us either. Staff were nice and the room was clean but if only stay again in the winter months."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room We stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, we did not notice the sign in reception that you need to ask for a room refresh (before noon) We needed clean cups, glasses, tbags, but we asked in the pub on the second day and all were provided. The only downside is there isn’t really anywhere in the bathroom to dry towel on a two night stay, so maybe best to ask for refresh Excellent value for money"

"Parking was easy. Plenty of space, We received a warm friendly greeting from the receptionist. She was very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. We will book a queen size bed next time and ask for a quilt to be put on the mattress as we found the bed a little hard. Breakfast was comprehensive and good quality. Sadia the lady working this morning was very helpful. All in all, we were impressed with the hotel and will be staying again"

"Lovely hotel in a great location for the town centre and the Corn Exchange. The owner was so friendly and couldn’t have done anything more for us. We had a lovely breakfast and definitely want to return to experience the restaurant."
