"The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was really clean and well equipped. Breakfast was busy and some items were in short supply...but this was due to a late delivery. The staff were very apologetic about this. Gluten free bread was provided for us...all done with a smile! The hotel was easy to find and within easy reach of Southampton port...we definitely stay here again."

Another minus was the room was very warm but the air con is disabled so you can't even use it! Expedia lists air con as an amenity so guests should be able to use what they're paying for. Didn't get a good night's sleep as a result."

"Small and fun hotel with so much history! It was clean and well kept. The rooms are small but well appointed and has everything you need. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff at the bar couldn’t have been nicer! We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Southampton "

"Was close enough to the bus stop to walk and close enough to the cruise port to walk. Forgot face cloths are not a thing a Europe…remember your fave cloths if traveling from North America. Hotel has a great vibe; staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Easy to find, easy to park and always a warm friendly welcome. Room has everything I need, having a fridge is particularly good. No disturbance from busy main road, Indian restaurant next door is excellent. I stay here every 6-8 weeks for work, always relaxing."
