"The Royal Kona sits RIGHT on the ocean front atop lava rocks. It is a very old property that could use a facelift but it was clean and very open with nice breezes blowing through. We had a corner ocean front room that offered two patio sliders to a huge private deck. The room was very large, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a desk/dresser piece of furniture but there was no chair to sit at the desk, and there was no side table or coffee table of any kind by the couch. ...

"Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "

"Clean and friendly staff. My main issue was limited amenities given the price. For over 1K for x2 nights one would think at least a coffee maker int he room would be available. The safe in my room would not turn on and upon further investigation the I found that the cover to the batteries on the inside of the safe which powers the key pad was missing and the batteries were just taped in place resulting in a loose connection. Given this was unable to use safe for fear that once lock batteries...
