"My 3rd visit. Great location for Lymm and surroundings. The only thing that let it down this time was the breakfast. When I first visited I was served a great full English meal, plus tea and toast. Now you are expected to make tea using an urn and to make toast in a toaster which was irritating as other people can use it at the same time and it is difficult to make toast to your own liking. "This hotel used to be a treat after coming back from holiday. How it’s changed ! We phoned from the airport and were told the bus was on its way. After 4 phone calls we finally arrived at the hotel over an hour later. Check in is all done at little booths so no interaction. Charged £4 for a bottle of Coke to take to the room. "What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester."
