"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail.
The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty.
Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Perfect, comfortable stay in central Bristol. Spacious, clean rooms with huge shower and beds and well-functioning A/C (essential in a heatwave!). The hotel is a short walk from Cabot Circus, King Street etc. making it perfect for a girls night out, with discounted off road parking available too. Didn’t have food at the hotel during our stay so cannot comment on that, but we got a free glass of Prosecco each which was divine! One of the towels was quite frayed and had holes and a few more room...

"Fire in the hotel kitchen, building full of smoke so had to be evacuated at 0300 until 0730 2 fire engine on scene. Have to question whether fire safety was all it could be and given the layout of the rooms up narrow staircases it’s not a building we’d want to be in again during a fire. Staff were helpful, rooms clean and newly refurbished. No offer of refund or apology from hotel however."

"This cellar apartment is a very cool place to stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided helpful information regarding the area and getting around.
Very nicely renovated with a well equipped kitchen, the apartment suited our needs perfectly. The bathroom was large with a great shower. It was very comfortable and quiet which made for an excellent night's sleep."
