"We have stayed at this property before. It’s a good location and close to the U of M pool. The staff is always kind and helpful. They do charge for parking and the stalls are quite tiny, especially for a SUV or truck. One of the nights we stayed 9 cars parked in front of the hotel on Essex Street had their windows smashed out. So it was worth paying! The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. For the most part we had a good stay. A couple minor issues but nothing we couldn’t...

"Staff was absolutely lovely. The only problem was that we waited hours to get into the room. Apparently other regular rooms were ready but we had booked a suite. We had been traveling since 5 am. Hanging out for hours in the lobby wasn’t ideal but it wasn’t horrible. The room wasn’t ready until close to 5pm. But the room itself and the experience overall was fine. "I really enjoyed having a balcony to start my day on and the area was very quiet and close to many shops and businesses. I was staying there to attend a music festival so I didn't take advantage of many amenities but I sure would stay there again and do so."
