"Whilst the staff are friendly and the restaurant and bar are nice, the room and the nights stay are something else .
It doesn't bother me that they are dated and basic.....but, the smell of dirty toilet and damp was probably a little much. Not to mention an early wake up call with what sounded like a continuous rattling washing machine on high spin which went on for most of the morning.
I never complain, unless I really have to....and this is one of those times "

"The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time.
The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants.
It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport."

Hotel in need of refurb, looking dated inside and room sadly wasn't very clean. I was only staying for 1 night, so didn't want to ask to change rooms and bed was clean.
Shame, as this was the only thing that let the place down."
