"Traditional pub easy parking behind hotel"

"It was very spacious and staff were very friendly."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

"Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience."

"Whilst everything was responsibly clean,some things where a bit dated and needed some tlc. Bed linen and towels where good quality. Staff where helpful and pleasant.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.Parking was also a bonus. "Plus points , within walking distance of the ferry lots of shops, bars, restaurants et cetera. Food in the bar a bit hit and miss but some stuff very nice. Quite fairly priced, clean good quality towels, even though I would say any at level cleanliness is a must and a basic., missing at this property. Negative points, very tired and dirty decor, lots of narrow steep flights of stairs, no wardrobe, no offer of help to carry bags up the flights of stairs when shown to you're room ,even though it...

"Undergoing renovations during my stay so have to reserve judgement a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and small things do matter. Hot chocolate and biscuits were a much appreciated extra that I wasn’t expecting. WiFi worked fine for me and breakfast was good. "

"Check in was a bit challenging. First person not as helpful but second person was excellent so depending on who you get breakfast was good with hot and cold. Room was basic but had noisy neighbours and thin walls. Room clean. Location was the greatest feature! Would stay again"
