"Could I give less than zero stars? We did not receive the code for a/the-room at all, until hours after I called the owners number and left a message as the motel does not have a staff or an office! After a hour sitting in the parking lot trying to get help, we left. Wish it would be listed on the Expedia site that the motel is not manned at all. I also texted the owner with no reply. Called Expedia customer service.. what a joke. All they wanted us to do was sign up for a gift card...

We were able to fix it ourselves, but it seems like something that should have been noticed and repaired during room cleaning and inspection. "Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."
