"We arrived late at night, yet the bar offered delicious snacks such as carpaccio and bitterballen. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in walking distance from Rotterdam Airport."

"The hotel looks very nice and is 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Oodorp. On arrival I and a couple waited for some time but nobody at reception. Eventually a young lady arrived but when checking in we were told that the restaurants were closed. It was -5C outside so I did not fancy a 30 min walk into town and I was looking forward to a glass of wine with my meal so I drove to an Aldi and bought tapas to eat and a bottle of wine. I decided to be sociable so at 1930 I went down to the bar...

"I was staying at the hotel for business purposes and would have no hesitaiton in going back for holiday purposes. Given the general location (i.e. close to the largest port and industrial complex in Europe) the little town of Brielle is a magical haven with its narrow streets, varied buildings, magnificent church and range of shops & places to eat. The hotel gave me the friendliest possible reception, it had reasonable food and good beer, so was a perfect place to hide out after a hards day's...

"The restaurant is known to be excellent (I did not have an opportunity to try) and location is convenient but the hotel badly needs investment in a modernization of the rooms - for a hotel in Wassenaar they are very dated. My third floor room smelled mildewy."
