"Stayed one Saturday night in June 2026 after a show at White Eagle Hall. The venue is a 20-minute walk away, through a pleasant residential area; recommend the nearby Barge Inn for a homey Italian meal. Room was simply but tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Strong air conditioning and good shower. Very basic breakfast but much appreciated. Perfectly quiet, which you mightn't expect two blocks from the Holland Tunnel. Free parking an enormous perk in this heavily trafficked area....

"We love the location—close to the 14th Avenue subway station. Lobby is unique and hosts a good breakfast that comes with the room. Decor is ship-themed, with large “portholes” for windows. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. Curiously, the bathroom light never turns off fully. The bathroom is large and the shower is huge! It has the best stocked mini bar of any hotel at which I have stayed. On your second visit, they bring you a complimentary bottle of wine around 4:00 PM. The staff...

"Absolutely amazing stay at the Soho Grand Hotel. The vibe was really nice, stylish, upscale, and perfectly located in SoHo. The room was fantastic with sleek design, and the service was top-notch. The lounge bar that turns into a nightclub is such a standout, we had so much fun there. On top of that, the staff were incredibly accommodating and so nice, they pointed us in the right direction to secure a spot at a busy restaurant and bar, even though everything was nearly fully booked. "From arrival to check out the W staff were helpful welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful with a great view. We enjoyed all the W had to offer. The location was close to restaurants and shopping and was located along the Hudson River. A great place to go for a walk and enjoy the views of NYC. This was a return visit and we will be back."

Staff were helpful in 2) holding our bags prior to check in, and b) booking us a car to the airport.
