The guy running the front desk was out smoking a joint in the middle of his shift. He then proceeded to charge me for my room when I had pre-paid. "Room was clean, although the website said the pool was open from May/September. Upon trying to use the poop that was filled, we were told that it didn’t open until the end of the month. We were there on May 14th. "

"Breakfast was the pits, not worth your time. Staff were helpful checking in, and absent on check-out. The location was quite helpful for our travel purposes. I had better breakfast choices at a Quality Inn for less cost!"

"The room was old, dirty, and full of broken amenities. Brown marks on the walls, dirty marks on the bed sheet, hair on the towels, broken drawers, TV didn’t work, light fixtures with broken bulbs.. about all that worked was the shower and the toilet. We had a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke and the people next door to us were definitely smoking in their non smoking room, but the staff didn’t do anything about it."

"No one stays at Red Roof for high end luxury. This is about good value and a comfortable place to sleep. We came for a graduation at UTenn in Knoxville and this hotel fit the bill. The room is small but clean. The lobby is quiet and there is always a fresh pot of coffee on. The hotel is convenient to the highway and less than 20 minutes to downtown. We would stay there again."

"Hotel was nice, no issues there. Decent breakfast. We had booked a room to sleep five and were given a room with two queen beds and no sofa. I went to the front desk to ask for a cot and was told that it would not fit in the room, so my three teenaged daughters had to share one of the beds. Fortunately it was only for one night. "

"This hotel was cleaner than most higher end hotels I've stayed in. Immaculate. They have a few dings and scrapes, but the bathrooms look like they were just retiled. Best part is that it was only 12 minutes from BigEars Music Festival by car. Really easy to navigate with a large refrigerator/freezer in room. Good budget-friendly option 20 minutes from the airport. "

"This property was really clean so festive we the Vols decor, staff sooooo friendly and informative. Love love the rooms, so modern. Loved the gym, couldn’t get enough of the gym! Love the ice buckets in the bottom floor with cups available, the breakfast was real nice and I love the draft beer station and the availability of snacks and drinks!!!!! Great stay, didn’t want to leave!!!!"

"While the room was adequate, our floor needed to be vacuumed better. Beds were comfortable. Shower was fine, but lighting could have been better. Towels were very soft. Breakfast was very limited. We saw bagels and cereal and two juices. Recommend bringing your own food. No microwave in room, though. Best part of the stay was the front desk staff. Very helpful and polite."
