"This is my second Hotel Indigo stay, the last was in Edinburgh for 7 days as well. As a tourist who likes to walk and take in every possible sight, the location in the city center , could not have been better. In addition , it was surrounded by small restaurants offering almost every ethnic food one could think of, as well as many countless traditional pubs. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning, and everything from special coffees, continental breakfast along with the English...

"Cant beat the location. Just next to York Minster and tons of restaurants. Walking distance to the Shambles and almost everything. The only issue that actually makes our stay not comfortable is that the hotel does not have Air conditioner. We were there during heat wave and this make the stay in the room really unbearable. The temperature in the room was so much higher than the outside. The staff was nice and try to give us 2 fans and a bucket of ice. Still felt very hot. The breakfast was set...

"Stayed for two nights and staff changed my room before arrival when they heard I’d had hip replacement.Parking was in a gated area and was very secure. Breakfast was excellent as was the service- everything was done with a smile. Great location for walking into City as it was very close to York Minster."
