"This is such a nice hotel the moment you enter it it just feels so comfortable. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Never heard anybody next-door to me. The coffee shop is divine the cutest way to start your morning when you’re not really craving a big breakfast from the restaurant inside the hotel crimson, which is immaculate, the reindeer hash to die for! Staff is very kind and accommodating, super helpful. You are in the heart of downtown Anchorage so you are able to walk around a lot of restaurants near you and the fifth Avenue mall is literally a street over so you can have some shopping time and burn the calories at the same time! I highly recommend staying here to anyone who is traveling to Anchorage you won’t regret making this your place of lodging during your travels. "

"The internet was fast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Airport pick up and railroad depot drop were carried out in a very timely manner. Two of my international credit cards did not work during check-in although those were accepted in Seward and Fairbanks. Breakfast was wholesome but on both mornings it was the same. There was no toilet paper initially which was supplied readily on calling the front desk. But the rod to hold the toilet paper was broken. The built-in air conditioning was not working so a portable heater was provided. It worked well but it was very noisy all night."

"Parking was a little tight a few nights, but still available. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was consistently very good and very well prepared. The staff taking care of the breakfast room did an excellent job keeping things maintained. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the pool was so cold, we couldn't stay in the water."
