"We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break."

"We had a great room with balcony overlooking the sea which we took advantage of in the sun! The bathroom was clean and modern. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the head housekeeper who found us an extra chair for the bedroom!
The breakfast was tasty with a good choice. The bar staff were good although could do with some practice with making cocktails!
Great central location for walking to shops and restaurants."

"The staff were very attentive to us and it was great to have communication if we needed help! Fantastic location just steps to everything one might want to explore in Margate! It’s our second stay there and we plan to return when we come back to Margate."

"We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire."
