"Room was smaller than expected but it was clean. TV did not have cable but Netflix and Prime video so more than ample. Dining staff were world class and meals well presented. If a person is handicapped some of the walkway could be an issue with the grade. Front desk staff (starts with an M) was quick efficient and a terrific representative for the accommodation. Overall We liked this place. The roads were a bit of a challenge but just take your time and you will be fine. I would certainly recommend. Watch for their 2 nights and 1 free. We missed that one but oh well. Pathways and hiking are nice but the chance of seeing a sloth in the wild has less odds than finding Jimmy Hoffa. Do yourself a favor and go to the sanctuary next door and pay $ as it was totally worth it and we saw 12 sloths.. Have a great trip"

"We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!"

"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Corazon in Monte Verde. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by giving us a tour of the hotel and telling us the story of how the hotel came to be. Every team member we interacted with were friendly and attentive. We felt at home. The room was spotless, spacious, modern, clean/new linens, the bed was very comfortable. There was no TV in the room which forced us to go and explore the town. The breakfast was yummy. The location was hard to find from the main road but it's understandable because is a new hotel. Going to town was easy, just went down a staired hill. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Monte Verde."
