"Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep."
"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start.
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful.
We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service.
The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...

"First time, but was immediately impressed by the friendly staff who were very accommodating. Appeared to be a young team who worked well together. Food was fabulous, we enjoyed the fresh fishcakes and amazing burger. Breakfast was equally excellent, good traditional fayre. "Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking.
3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine.
The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.
The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."
