"I would highly suggest an ARBnB for the extra fees we were charged we could’ve easily had a bigger place with a lot more amenities. The parking, as high of a price you pay daily it’s hard to secure a spot. Also save yourself some money and just get breakfast at Zippy’s the free breakfast (paid) made the room a little more expensive and for an upgraded menu it’s another $25. Not worth it."

"We like everything it was very clean room , the staff was very kind and polite in all shifts , breakfast the three days always was fresh, healthy and the cafeteria was very clean, they have free fresh coffee and tea 24 hours….. love the parking space close to the entrance and not extra charge, also they have three elevators .definitely I’ll be back again to stay in my next vacation."

"Great views. Lovely staff, but not a great neighborhood to stay in. Too many homeless. Restaurants close between 2 pm and 5 pm at night. Unit is dated"

"Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold."

"This was the best family stay that we’ve ever had. The staff is so nice. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and they prepared a nice welcome with drinks and chocolate. The Free Breakfast was so nice, and we ended up saving a lot of money by cooking simple meals in the kitchen in our room."

"The Halepuna was the perfect hotel for our stay. The rooms were modern, very clean and well appointed. The ocean view was nice. The location of the hotel was convenient. Pool was very well staffed and relaxing. All of the staff that I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Honolulu in the future. Also loved the bakery right next door. Only complaint (which is no fault in the hotel) was the trucks unloading next door at all...

"Nothing like the pictures, rooms were too small and very outdated. Never had towels. Only one elevator worked at the time."

"Room extremely comfortable and very clean. Staff is the most helpful staff I have ever had in a hotel. Came in after multiple layer overs and late running flights. The staff helped me with luggage both taking it to my room and to the car the next morning. By the time I reached the hotel I had either been sitting in an airport or flying for over 24 hours. Did not have any breakfast, too tired to think about eating."

"First of all there were ROACHES we were told that it had been exterminated a week before we arrived the following week still ROACHES running me I killed 4 my husband killed one me Three or 4 got away. The kitchen area by the microwave smelled like urine. The washer leaked me The tub was badly stained.Pictures my fell in off the wall one larger picture had been glued previously it broke in the same spot.
