"We had a very good stay at Hotel LiVEMAX Budget Sagamihara. The rooms are definitely small, but they were clean, comfortable, and fit the purpose of our trip 100%. The biggest advantage for us was the location. The hotel is extremely convenient to Fuchinobe Station, which made getting around the area and traveling into Machida and beyond very easy. There are also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and other necessities within a short walk. Despite having so much nearby, the surrounding...

"The HVAC is controlled centrally, and supposedly the air conditioning was still on but my room was hot quite frequently with no way to adjust. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in when visiting Japan, and that says a lot. The picture on Expedia did not do a good job showing how small the room was. That said, the cost per night that included a very nice breakfast down the street at a Gusto was very reasonable. Pro's: location, cost per night that included a very good breakfast, clean...
