I’m not gonna lie, I thought it was closer to ubud when I booked, it was quite a distance. I don’t regret it, it was quiet and really awesome. We rode bikes into the village and to the waterfall. "This place was gorgeous and truly the best place we stayed in Bali. The room is incredible, with a private infinity pool and beautiful views of the jungle and valley. Tons of birdwatching and monkeys in the distance. Staff were kind and responsive and friendly. We loved it. The massages at the spa were amazing, and the resort even had an Indian restaurant! My partner is Indian and said the food was so excellent. Overall would 100% return for a longer stay."

"Hôtel au milieu des rizières et au calme. L’accueil est parfait. La villa sur 2 étages est luxueuse et magnifique au dessus d’une rizière. La piscine est superbe Par contre quelques remarques concernant le logement: la salle de bain du bas était inondée après chaque douche et la salle de bain du haut était directement ouverte sur l’extérieur ce qui à la base n’était pas voulu (absence de porte). L’hôtel a aussi un bon service de taxi."

With canggu traffic you need to stay at a location like this and get around on foot.
Food was great, beds comfortable and numerous pools so didn’t feel crowded.
Cafe is busy with people and laptops that can have access to pools as day rate. Would just need to monitor to make sure nomads don’t take over paying guests.

"The Balisani is a lovely hotel our room was fantastic, nice and spacious. Would be great if they had a coffee machine and barista. this was a downfall for us as we would have to walk down to beach or up to main street. Would have been great to have at breakfast or afternoon tea. It is a pleasant walk to main street, and to find other restaurants around and also for shopping. Hotel was great Seminyak just not for me, too busy"

"My second time staying at Andaz Bali, forth time for Andaz including Singapore. I find the service quality consistent across the different places, a unique experience I have not found with other hotels I stayed. Compared to our first stay at Andaz Bali, my breakfast experience was greatly improved. There was so little waiting time for my orders unlike the first time when it took quite a while waiting time.
