"I was In the old part of the hotel and did not care for it nearly as much as the newer part. It seemed darker and no bathrobes or bathroom incidentals (cotton balls, qtips, etc.). Staff was still great and I love The Read House just not the older wing of rooms."

"The room smelled of a foul odor, ice maker didn't work, staff after checkin cou;dn't care less about issues. remote control in living room would not turn tv on or off, but changed channels. Staff told me I didn't know how to use it."

"Hotel was very nice and clean. I didn’t like having to pay for parking ($20). Parking should be free for guests. Great continental breakfast. Great location downtown and within walking distance of various restaurants and the Convention Center. Front desk was ok. I noticed they’d put a sign up that they were away , but I’d hear laughing and cackling from a back room. Meanwhile, there’s 5 people waiting at the desk. Otherwise, it was a fine hotel. "
