"We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run. The staff were so helpful polite and attentive. "The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all."

"Outstanding, we are regularly away for the odd night but this is the absolute best place we have stayed! The room (15) was amazing more like an apartment and was spotlessly clean, prosecvo in room was chilled for our arrival and a special birthday treat - chocs and strawberries was a lovely touch. The grounds are immaculate and the food is delicious. Both dinner and breakfast service was perfect, staff from us checking in to us leaving were lovely. We can't wait to stay again and have told...

"Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay. Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too.
