Hotellet var lite märkligt, mottagandet när man kom var väldigt personligt men sedan kändes resten av hotellet väldigt opersonligt. Rummet var ett stort rektangulärt rum som kändes väldigt spartanskt, även för att vara ett Ryokan. Det fanns TV och kylskåp men rummet saknade helt atmosfär och kändes nästan lite läskigt. Vi bodde på ett annat Ryokan under samma resa som var betydligt mysigare och exklusivare utan att vara dyrare. Det här stället skulle jag bara rekommendera som en nödlösning om man behöver någonstans att sova för natten. Det ska dock sägas att deras Onsen-bad var väldigt fräscht och verkade nytt/nyrenoverat, även om det var litet. Även läget var otroligt bra, mycket nära till Kyoto Station.
