"We loved our stay at the Cheshire Cat Inn. Everything from the easy check in, our cottage was adorable and spotless and the delicious breakfast delivered to our door every morning. The location is great, close enough to state street but also quiet and peaceful. We have stayed in Santa Barbara many times, usually closer to or right on the ocean which is beautiful but can be very noisy since the highway runs along the shoreline. We will definitely stay here again!"

Staff was amazing! We really appreciated the suggestions of beautiful drives we could take. We loved riding the bikes available to us and the wine and cheese in the afternoons. "We recently returned from an excellent stay at the Franciscan, in a Junior King suite. The hotel is very quiet (thick walls, on a side street) and clean, with nice beds. Our room had a mid-size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and all the dishes we needed. In terms of amenities, I would recommend sealing off the second bedroom door and placing a dresser/chest of drawers in that space, so guests have a place to store personal items. My only caveat about this lovely small hotel is that the hotel...

"The Eagle Inn is located in quiet, and very pretty, residential area. It is a short distance to the ocean and relatively eastywalking distance to many restaurants, shops, and museums downtown. When I visit Santa Barbara again, I'll certainly try to stay at The Eagle Inn."
