She arranged travel and an activity for us, and was extremely flexible with our check out time. She also did our laundry for us ($4/kg) and it was cleanly folded when returned. We had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable staying here, highly recommend this to everyone! Pura Vida:)"

"Well maintained property. Basic but clean room. Beds were hard and sheets had sand which we couldn't get rid of and didn't bother to inform the staff because we just crashed for the night. Breakfast was decent. Friendly and helpful staff. The resort has a 10% discount at the nearby Mediterranean restaurant which was great."

"Hotel Boutique Casa del Río was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip! Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the property is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for nature lovers. Our room was beautiful, and waking up to the soothing sound of the rushing river each morning was incredibly peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a flavorful traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The view of the volcano from the restaurant in the morning was breathtaking....

"No breakfast during off season. Breakfast was not an option -Which is not stated online. Be advised there are no breakfast options here but lots of places nearby to walk. The pictures online were NOT really an accurate representation of the rooms available and the room we had was outdated. This was ultimately what was upsetting to us, as we wouldn’t have booked this hotel if the room pictures were accurate.
