"Amazing hotel staff! Very kind and helpful. Great location. The hotel can coordinate a taxi for you immediately. We had the pleasure of having our room upgraded upon arrival. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. There is a lift to get into the hotel. The lower floor of the hotel has a luggage lift for convenience. The room comes with a stocked mini fridge with drinks that can be purchased. Would definitely stay again!"

A great hotel for people that are self sufficient, comfortable with unknown, but bad for people that book through regular hotels using points or needing immediate and highest end service. "This was my most favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It is the upper floor of a private palazzo with a view of expansive gardens. Being off the beaten path was perfect because it was a calm from the very overwhelming city center. The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING and the interior design was a perfect mixture of modern and Italian. I hope to get back to Florence soon, and when I do, I will definitely stay here!"

"Lovely location. My room was a generous size and the bed and linens were definitely up to snuff. The breakfast area was lovely and the food choices quite broad and nicely laid out. My only reservation about full top marks would be the access from the street. It's in an old building, old style Florence, so you have to pass through 2 doors/gates through a somewhat rough and old looking main building lobby entrance, which is not nearly as nice as the hotel inside and the elevator is slow, very...

"Place was excellent. There was plenty of space for a family of five. Check-in was difficult because there was not a lot of storage for luggage. Had to walk around city lugging our luggage. However, after we checked-in everything was great!"

I lived for relaxing on the little balcony overlooking Pitti Palace in the long light of the sun with my morning coffee or pre-dinner wine.
