"We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station....

"The experience of staying at Konanou has been our favorite activity so far. Our room was spotless and beautiful, with our onsen setting a pleasant bubbling sound in the background and a view overlooking the lake. The kaiseki dinner was delicious both nights. "We thought this was a great facility - clean and modern. Beautiful! BUT, you need to walk about 4 blocks for breakfast from a convenience store. "I really appreciate the shuttle bus driver and the lady that greeted us at the front of the hotel. "If you're looking for an amazing isolated cabin experience just seconds from the street, this is it! The layout of the cabin with kitchen separated from the sleeping area in its own structure including a huge front deck is incredible. Nightly poolside party with grilled meat, desserts, beer and wine was an unexpected treat. Our cabin included a sauna, onsen and shower. This was a perfect place to stay while we ejoyed mountain biking and canoeing in the view of Mt. Fuji. "
