"The 1 bedroom apartment was well furnished and had all the required amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The location was a bit further away from central attractions but still walkable with shopping and essentials closeby. The breakfast/dining area would get congested during morning breakfast rush and the staff (despite their best efforts) seemed to have struggled to keep up. "The best thing about the hotel was the reception staff, especially Ian and Valeriia. My husband Tom fell and broke his kneecap in front of the hotel. They arranged for us to take a taxi to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he got excellent care. They made a bad situation so much better with their kindness and care."

"A kitchen. That’s the only way I can start this because was a convenience to have. Having a kitchen with basic amenities really helps after a long day out or staying in. While off the main road, it’s still an easy walk from Haymarket station and back. It’s a brisk walk to many popular spots like Dean Village. The staff is helpful, even if you are on your own most of the time. While there are no elevators, this hotel is still a great find."

The only negative was that it wasn’t the quietest location with a loud bar across the street and homeless shelter next door. "
