"Wow. So amazing and well kept. Stayed one night, will definitely come back. Clean and charming. The breakfast they served was amazing (maple walnut scone fresh baked, fruit, and a choice of scramble or waffles - I got waffles with lemon curd, blueberries and sausages)."

"Property was very nice. Better accessibility for people with mobility issues would be good. Our Yurt was clean, and the beds were very comfortable."

"Beth is absolutely the perfect hostess! She is sincere, full of laughter, and genuine in welcoming you to her beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The creativity in the house is amazing and beautiful in its genuine country setting. Her delicious breakfast was served family style over warm conversation. I want to go back!"

"I would love this to be our new Eugene hotel! I wish we would’ve known about The Excelsior before now! Charming; quiet; secure; low-tech (no 27 LED lights blinking at night, staring into my sleepless eyes); courteous and helpful staff; delicious, home-made breakfast included; competitive pricing; and classical music themed rooms. This kind of hotel attracts like-minded guests; and we were not disappointed. And there were little touches, too, such as a nightlight in the bathroom, and a wine...
