"The apartment was in brand new condition and was excellently laid out with separate kitchen/lounge and sleeping areas. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional. "Really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately the lift was out of order but the staff were really helpful in bringing our cases up and down the stairs! Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was great. Would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to other friends and family. Interesting historical background too."

Highly Recommended – Fantastic Location in the Heart of Edinburgh We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 6 Market Street and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. The location is hard to beat—directly opposite Waverley Station and right in the heart of the city. Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Princes Street, excellent restaurants, and many of the city’s major attractions are all within easy walking distance. Our first room wasn’t ideal, but the team handled the situation exceptionally well and promptly moved us to a much quieter room without any fuss. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in during our travels. A unique bonus was the complimentary in-room minibar, which is replenished daily with drinks and snacks—a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The staff were always friendly, professional, and eager to help. My only suggestion for improvement would be to ensure the front-of-house team has a deeper knowledge of Edinburgh’s attractions, restaurants, and local amenities. In a city with so much history and character, knowledgeable hotel staff can add enormous value to a guest’s experience. Overall, an excellent hotel in a superb location, and we would stay again."
