"The property itself was very nice inside the unit, definitely off the beaten path but for the price we couldn’t have asked for more, friendly staff even with language barrier. Unfortunately the pool was being filled at time of arrival and not available until the following day. There was confusion with our booking as I had received confirmation from Expedia and that I could pay upon arrival at property, however when we arrived they said we didn’t have a reservation as payment was not processed...

"The owners, Eva and Bernard, were totally hospitable, friendly, and spoke English well. The B & B is in a truly Mexican neighborhood 3 km from the beach. It costs only 25 pesos (less than $2.) for a taxi to the beach or the B&B offers free bikes to ride. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly and has some great restaurants for very reasonable prices. The beach at Puerto Morales is great; such a wonderful alternative to the craziness of Play del Carmen or Cancun. However, even the beach area...

"Friendly people! I like that the localtion is not in a hotel zone but rather in a nice neighborhood with eating options. One negative was that the WIFI signal did not really reach our room upstairs. Also be advised, no coffee on premise. - we found a nice cafe nearby though! "
