"Excellent stay: The size of the property and ease of navigating from the lobby to the beach, and all in between, is a breeze. The rooms spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Great beds, very clean and extremely attentive staff. The "Privilege" upgrade is highly recommended. It makes the trip so much easier from check in, to reservations, to getting chairs at the Privilege and El Beso pools. It also provides access to an additional restaurant that had great appetizers and the best margarita on the property. If you are lucky enough to get Rosas as your butler, well, your trip just went to 5 stars. She is the most attentive, fun and kindness woman you will meet and has the best laugh ever. With a little instruction, she planned out the week with reservations. The pools are great. We just used the Privilege , El Beso and typically ended up at the one by the beach. It was nice to be able to move around to various "vibes" each offered. The beach area is small but plenty of places to relax. Nice to have a restaurant on the beach too. My only complaint is the meat. Steakhouse and burgers were not great meat quality. The coupon dinners were fine. The rest of the food was pretty good. Not a lot of great salad options but everything else good. The staff made the trip so enjoyable. Every single staff was kind, warm and helpful. A relaxing space with fun evening events and bowling. One of the more enjoyable places we have stayed...and we have been to a lot of them!"

"Property grounds are well cared for. Room was great! The food is very basic and not even close to the quality you could get in town. Pools were great. Beach was kinda stinky but gorgeous. Overall nice spot for my first all inclusive. The staff was incredible except the folks at the front desk don't truly understand hospitality especially Albierto Solis. He was rude and seemed dead inside. I'll upgrade to a nicer spot next time but it was a great intro to all inclusives. Think Walmart of all inclusive lol."

"Very friendly staff, good food, nice grounds. Loved the semi-privacy of the swim up suite. Only drawbacks were the availability of some of the restaurants, and needed more pool bar staff."

"Property was playing. I hated the pool close so early. Food was good need more choices and more variety of music."

"Only one restaurant opened a night. Buffet open for all meals. Food very inconsistent. Some food good. Some not. Pizza at pool good. Coffee shop ice cream was a great snack. Snack room seemed great until i saw a staff member touch several sandwiches with his bare hands. The sandwiches were fully assembled to heat and eat. So no reason for him to touch. Top shelf liquor extra. Drinks were not consistent either. Some good some not great. Hot tub on a complete other floor than either of the pools. Not even hot. Standard 2 bed room very small. One small window by door. 2 other small frosted windows. No view. Pool activity fun and bar entertainment at night as well. Spa offers sauna, cold plunge and hot tub experience for $30. It was nice and relaxing before massage and facial. There is beach access but very rocky. So beware. "

"No one speaks English, so cant help or explain anything. Many times my brother and husband had female staff walk into the men's restroom and clean while they are urinating!! The food had hair and finger nails in it several times, food was very poor testing, raw, poor quality. The liquor seemed watered down in 2 of the bars. They allow vaping at the beach bars. Worst resort I ever went to and I have travelled to 11 previous in Cancun with nothing like this."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at Hyatt Vivid. From the welcoming staff to the warm reception by German at the front desk—who made our stay so much easier—everything was fantastic. The amenities are spot on, and the property feels very secure. A special shout-out to Efren for his energetic, sincere smile and positive demeanor; he delivered our late-night room service every single night of our stay when we got hungry! Overall, we highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again when we return. This was our second time in Playa del Carmen, and it didn't disappoint."
