"Herriot house is a lovely old stone building in a prime place right in the middle of Hawes village. We were met by the host on arrival...he was informative and friendly .explained everything we needed to know.. The room was lovely .comfortable and clean..tea and coffee were plentyful and homemade cookies and water were also there..the bed was realy comfortable The water pressure in the shower was great. Everything was lovely .we were left a small flask of cold milk in the morning outside the...

"We loved the pub and Alina really went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay/enjoyed our breakfast. We hope that they are able to get their plumber to fix their shower properly, as it fluctuated dangerously between scalding hot and cold."
