"The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

"Rooms were very clean with a nice view of the runway. Excellent sound proofing windows and walls. Slept like a log. Very short walk to the airport terminals. As we left before breakfast started 4am. The staff kindly said we could collect some pastries and fruit at 3am. "

"The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the shower head and toilet bowl were dirty. Both these things ought to be spotless in a hotel, if they have cleaners then they are not doing their job properly!! The room was set for one person when the booking stated 2. We asked for another mug but didn’t realise about just one large towel until we had a shower and at that point just shared as unable to contact the desk unless we walked over to them. The price was cheap but even so...

"What a lovely place to stay! Stayed here for a night for work nearby. The room was pretty, the bed super comfortable, the temperature lovely and cosy, the bathroom toiletries and bed linens all super high quality. Wi-Fi was strong and meant I could work. But best of all, they really had thought of everything in the room… a thoughtful and plentiful hamper of breakfast items and treats; a mini fridge with fresh milk, juice, water, fruit and chocolate; a hairdryer; and even a pretty stone coaster...

"Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning. So we had managed to to arrive at 10pm and gone in a few hours. We was in room 21 so really check the room the room with the lights off and use your black light to check the bed and...

"A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "
