"Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay."

"The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"

"So basically you have two choices for hotel in Gatwick airport - YOTEL or Bloc. I’ve stayed at both on the same day (sleep deprived while flying). The YOTEL is so noisy with cleaners cleaning, hoovering, guests climbing over you etc, the bloc was deadly silent and with no windows was perfectly blacked out and I slept like a baby… I’ve stayed her before and it was the same story.
