"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"It's a great place to go to relax, you have the cove about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The staff are great very helpful, the breakfast is great and the evening meals are great too, the room was clean the one I stayed in, the bar is good too the beer is local as well just up the road to we're the mill is."

"Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied."

"We are family of four with 2 kids and we booked the big deluxe cottage with double bedroom. To be honest it was our best experience in uk ever. Property is very well maintained and this cottage had kitchen as well, so well equipped that you can cook anything in there, giant living room and bedrooms also very spacious. "I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. "We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books.
