"It was just embarrassingly ghetto… youd think for $2000 a week the room wouldnt have a midge infection. I would actually recommend looking at the resort next-door. It looked a lot better and I regretted not looking more into that one. Sorry about my poor review, but this place was not exceptional in any capacity. It was an average dirty hotel with overpriced rooms. The rooms do not look anything like they do in the photos. If you’re reading this, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else."

"The location of the hotel is beautiful and is right on the beach. It isn’t a swimming beach though but beautiful nonetheless. There is no onsite dining options but there are lots of restaurants and other options nearby. The staff were friendly but the rooms were extremely outdated. The mattresses were not underneath a box spring and I woke up sore almost everyday. The most annoying part is that I booked the trip through Expedia and paid for two queen beds with a card view. "The resort is amazing! Equal to the Grand Hyatt (I’ve stayed there twice) but at a more affordable price point, and the view — ocean + mountains from a private beach — is unmatched. I was initially concerned about the close proximity of the airport, but it caused zero noise or issues (plus, was very convenient). The central location made it easy to explore different parts of the island and the grounds were glorious. Believe everything you read in the best reviews — you’ll still be impressed!"

"The overall stay would rate a D- The beginning was the worst part. They seemed to not have us registered?? Not sure but they had us take a seat and then took over 20 minutes to check in and we got there at 5:30pm. Check in is at 4pm. Once we got our keys and went up and tv was blasting a kids show and doors were open. Brought up the concerns to the folks at the front and didn’t seem to care nor offered anything besides we “checked it out and everything is fine”. We asked for a different room...
