Inside our room, we found old very stained unholstered chair, and a very filthy dirty bathroom with black mold in the shower, under soap holder, in every crack and crevice of the bathroom (which was everywhere), black mold in the window area and floor boards. "Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"The room was nice, clean and comfortable and we loved the location. It was really close to Pacific heights shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and the option for parking was nice. The only funny thing was that the receptionist couldn't help us get a remote for the tv and wouldn't find batteries to put in any spares. Nothing crazy, just a random thing to happen during the world cup."

"Perfect location! We parked and walked from the hotel. Very small parking lot. The floors in the room felt dirty. The room could use an update."

"Great hotel and I’d def stay again, the only drawback is the way the noise. Could be the way the noise carries through the hallways. Also the foot steps from the room above us were easy to hear. But the area is wonderful and it’s a great value for SF. I’d stay again."

"Good location. Small cramped room. The room was clean. There is limited parking so if you do not get a spot, you have to find a spot on your own. There is some urban noise and there was some maintenance work being done at the motel so there was some noise at around 8:30 AM. With all due respect (and not the fault of the owners) I likely will not choose to stay here again. Just was not a comfortable stay for me."

"Location was fantastic, close to Chestnut restaurants and stores. Within walking distance to the ocean coast and wonderful parks nearby. Parking was also included, which is why we chose the motel. Staff was very helpful and courteous."

"Great location when visiting that side of beautiful S.F. !! Marina district is awesome greens,palace of fine arts , presidio, Golden Gate Bridge and more wharf not to far !! And there is a little JOE’S right around the corner !! Always good !! Other shops and food and bars !!"

"I always like staying here. I’ve stayed a couple of times and it’s always clean. But like anywhere else sometimes the linen might have a stain or burn not all the time. But they take care do it right away when you inform them."
