"From check in to check out the Staff were fantastic.. The Halyard is a wonderful hotel, spotlessly clean,the rooms were well equipped and airy.. The evening restaurant menu is small,but everything cooked from fresh in the open plan kitchen, and something for everyone on there,our young waitress ( can't remember her name) was a credit to her employers. "Excellent room,very spacious with king size bed. Free parking and really good breakfast in the price. Handy location for the sights,friendly staff and a very good onsite restaurant. Nice bar attached to the hotel. All in all couldn't fault it. "

"What a gorgeous hotel; stylish, open clean space with 2 great restaurants. We went here as we were going to the Liverpool Philamonic Hall for a concert. The hotel was directly across the road. Lots of lovely bars, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and 15 minute walk to all the shops. Lovely room, very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. We had an evening meal in 1931 which was lovely - Italian food. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, pastries and cooked...

"Very polite and attentive staff throughout our visit made us feel like vips, the room was large and air conditioned but was scewed shut. Only downside was the plugs by the bed were not standard 3 pin so could not plug in cpap machine so had to request an extension lead - note these are not the only hotel to not consider this."
