"Reasonably priced ( total rarity) and worth at least 3 stars for that alone. It's what it is in Manhattan. Tiny room but it provides ALL you'll need. Including a couple cold waters and chips and NO ONE does that. Super clean. Close to EVERYTHING. Staff was ok; stayed out of way. And that's very cool. I've stayed in a half dozen or so hotels in Manhattan in the last year or so and This place is the sole hotelier that didn't monkey with the charges trying to gouge me. Sad but true. Props to...

"Location was amazing near a bar, one world trade, 9/11 memorial, souvenir gift shop, 24 hour deli, walking distance to battery park, Staten island Ferry, Wall Street and the bull. Our view was incredible. The hotel was interesting very dark like a night club. The staff was very nice and answered our questions. "I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It was actually QUIET for sleeping, a 3 min walk from the Empire State Building, and a 5 min walk from the subway. The staff were delightful; I got a free upgrade to a family suite. I'm not a city person but this hotel made me want to come back to NYC!"

"The room was very nice and the staff was overall lovely. The heat in the room did not work properly and my room temp was between 58-78 degrees with setting the thermostat at 70. Plus the heat rattled when one keeping me awake. There is a mini fridge but no microwave to reheat food. No coffee or tea service available in the room. Also, the pool is not easily accessible. "

"Nice hotel; courteous & knowledgeable staff. Yummy cookies at check-in & anytime requested. Two Q beds very comfortable; Room smaller than expected & somewhat crowded with luggage for two females. Many places nearby for coffee, bagels, muffins, pizza, etc. Not as near to sites we planned to see, at least for an 82 y/o who has difficulty walking. "We didn't attempt to use the wifi, so we can't comment on that... the TV isn't a smart TV, just a few cable channels. The bathroom had some hair in it. Room waa clean otherwise. Definitely outdated, but easy check in and they offered it early (1pm) upon arrival. Great access to an easy transit station. Honestly, better restaurants to choose from than midtown. "
