We have stayed at Denham Grove for many years. However when we arrived on Saturday there was no-one on Reception and there was no bell for service. Asked a cle aner if there was someone to check us in and she went in a back room and then said she is on the telephone. A man who looked like he might be the Manager walked behind the desk and ignored us and went in the back room. About 5 minutes later a girl came out and with no apology said "Can I help you". This is not what we expect.. there should certainly be a bell to notify staff that a guest is waiting. This poor service is not what we have come to expect from this Company!

The bedroom was small but well appointed and decorated. Please be aware there aren’t lifts to the first floor bedrooms.

1. Staff are outstanding. Natalie & Stella. Great people. The Manager is there, working. 2. Bed comfort very good. 3. Breakfast quality & choice = excellent. The overall package & location is well worth it.

I stayed one night because I was attending a family event locally. The hotel is in the countryside and very quiet. Good pool and gym facilities. Staff were lovely and really helpful. The whole place had a lovely feel.

Room was very small and no air conditioning. Humid. Carpet was stained.. Decorative cushions on bed were dark velvet which must be difficult to clean. They had to be put on the floor to use the bed. Tea making facilities good.. property was only easy to find because I knew where it was. Had a slightly dated feel. Reception staff pleasant.

Male staff by the dining area seemed so confused and the other one was so rude .. I got a wrong cocktail order 2 times and they don’t come to take your food order once you seat down you have to call them even then they take time while we were hungry ..they are not friendly at all while the ladies at reception were exceptional .people kept walking around in the night and hitting our door and kids shouting etc everyday for the 3 days me and my husband stayed there .I wouldn’t book this hotel even if I was strunded …

We arrived at 3.30pm and our room wasn’t ready we had to wait an hour more. When we got our room we were very tired as we’d had an early start and wanted a nap before we went out for the evening. Instead we found people sitting right outside our room on our patio. Having a party and the music from the hotel was so loud it was like being in Ibiza. It was early on a Tuesday work night. Room was nice, but the pool was filthy. Staff were polite and friendly.

Van was broken into in the car park and there is damage that we now have to get repaired, wasn’t happy to hear this a regular occurrence at this hotel if we knew beforehand we could have parked closer to reception or not even bothered to stay at all very disappointed

Awful hotel / AVOID if you can.

This is a tired, run down hotel. No air conditioning in rooms. My TV remote was dead, and held together with electrical tape. The TV had to be manually switched on and only one channel. I complained the following morning to the reservations lady, and she questioned why I hadn't complained the night before. What at 10.30 pm at night?

Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness and Inadequate Resolution I booked the Wedding Junior Suite expecting a special, comfortable experience — unfortunately, it was anything but. The room was dirty on arrival: there were face masks hanging on the walls, cigarette butts scattered around, no conditioner, and an empty toilet roll. Worst of all, there were hairs left in the bathroom, which made the space feel unclean and unhygienic. This is unacceptable in any room, let alone one that’s supposedly a premium suite. After raising these issues with the staff, we were moved to another room. However, the second room was also below standard — tissues and rubbish were left outside, giving the impression that cleanliness and attention to detail are not priorities at this hotel. The only resolution offered was a 30% refund, which frankly does not come close to compensating for the experience. When you book a suite — especially for a special occasion — you expect far better service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Would not recommend, and will not be returning.

Great Stay, Breakfast very nice, good selection!

Booked premium deluxe room, upon arrival room was a great size with double sofas but the bed was so small with a mattress that sounded like rice crispies when you moved. Went to reception, explained that we could not spend 2 nights on that bed & was offered immediately another room, lovely chalet style rooms to the side of the main hotel around a courtyard, excellent size bed, clean, could do with a little modernisation & repairs (drawers missing handle) but was so much better size for us! Breakfast booked for both mornings, great choice, cereals, full English etc… most enjoyable on both occasions. Swimming Pool - brochure pictures can be deceiving. It was SO hot in there it was uncomfortable! Couldn’t use when we got there as there was swimming lessons taking place. Would have been nice to be informed by the Hotel that a Prom was taking place so we were aware but have to say there was no bother whatsoever! Overall a lovely stay

Good space but old ... needs a proper rénovation

Not good, it was a hot day, ive reserved a suprlerior room... i had no AC in my room and they offered a small fan the room had no fridge, breakfasts wasent too good, i had no water on the second day... after asking for my room to be clean nothing been done The pictures for advertising doesent much the reality...
