Very spacious, great location

We were able to store our luggage in their office which was nice when we got there early. Easy walking to sites (a lot within a 20 min walk), but also close the the tube station. A few local convenience/grocery stores to stock the kitchen with. Very close to the borough market for good quick eats. The beds were not so comfortable, we had a problem with a dirty carpet that they weren't able to resolve while we were there and wifi only worked by the apartment doorway. ultimately chose this place because we had 5 people and wanted 2 bathrooms.

Weekend in London

The apartment was great. Really clean and nice. The only thing that was bas was the check in, the need to make things smoother and easier for the costumer. 4/5 rating.

Nice apartment close to the Shard

The best bit about the apartment has to be location vs price. Being that close to London central for the price and space you get is great. Also feel very safe plenty of security. Only down side are the beds... they seem to have a plastic under sheet that doesn’t breathe very well and you can sweat a lot when it’s muggy and they are a bit hard too. Apart from the great place to stay.

Nice apartment, missing a few touches

Signal apartments offer an apartment stay very close to the Shard and London Bridge. The apartment was clean and generally well looked after. They miss a few touches, such as not having a slip mat for the bath, no washing up liquid (but dishwasher tabs were provided), no items like butter, milk, etc., and the wifi was a tad patchy. Obviously you can manage those things yourself to an extent, but those extra touches would make life easier. The lack of a clear check-in procedure is also a bit problematic. Nevertheless, the person who did check us in was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The stay itself was also great, as mentioned, the location is perfect for the Shard, and it is a short walk to several underground stations (Northern and Bakerloo lines) for access to the rest of London.

No photo id, sleep on street.Conf booking count?

This is a place I will not stay at again. I made the booking and received confirmation email. I confirmed I would be arriving between 6pm and 7pm. On the day of arrival, even though I had already confirmed my arrival 6pm-7pm I was getting harassed to say you must be there by 7pm, can you give exact time? No mention is made in the email or the follow up call on the day of arrival that photo id is needed. So, after being harassed to ensure I was there before 7pm I arrive at the property, or should I say a security gate that is locked. I then have to find my printed booking to phone the office as noone is there to check me in. I had rushed to ensure I was there then there is no one to meet me at the building where the apartment is located. After phoning, 20 mins later a lady arrives to do check in. I am then told I must provide photo id. Would have been helpful to tell me in the email from the hotel or the phone call on the day. My passport was in the office 30 minutes away. I advised my driving licence was at dvlc and passport in the office. I am advised I cannot check in without them. I explain I do not have either, but had staff pass that was photo id and credit cards etc. None were acceptable. Can you get someone from office to bring your passport or you go back to office to get it? Wifi only had 1 bar so I was told to access wifi outside of flat. There was some damage in flat. Worry get charged for prior damage as no consideration when checkin to note it.

Nice apartment

We were looking for a location close to city center and this was exactly what we were after. We have enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend it to everyone who loves southbank area.

Great, spacious, and a clean place. Perfect for our family trip in London as it was centrally located. Highly recommend this place. Just one small note: the check-in and check-out times are different than most other hotels.

Følte oss litt lurt

Vi fikk en (liten?) leilighet på bakkeplan, med fullt innsyn fra naboer som gjorde at vi bodde bak nedtrukne persienner hele tiden. "Dobbeltsengen" var 120 cm bred, det var ikke noe salongbord e.l., og leiligheten hadde kun tre (vonde) klappstoler. Men badet var rent og kjøkkenet godt utstyrt. Alt i alt noe helt annet enn det skrytebildene på hotels.com sin nettside viste.

Excelent stay at Signal Apartments

This property is a must for family travel! Much less in cost than a standard hotel, with a phenomenal amount of area and modern, clean and comfortable accommodations, just like home away from home. Includes a fully equipped kitchen including an unexpected washing machine too! Staff response was superb as well, making everything even more comfortable for our stay. Thank you for being part of a great weekend in London! Will definitely recommend!

Nicely situated, close to shops , tube station.

The appartment was situated close to tube , shops etc. It was clean and staff were helpful there when we arrived to let us in . The only problem we had was the cooker did not work,we phoned staff and they were apologetic stating they would send someone out the next day. Sadly the cooker did not get fixed , which meant the food we had bought was wasted. We chose to stay in apartments for this reason to cook our own food, not always wanting to go out after long day walking around London . This sadly tainted the stay . The day we left We had lovely breakfast on Sunday at Terry's would recommend.
