A hotel that is like home

The Stafford is always a convenient and wonderful place to stay in London. In the middle of everything, it is quietly tucked away from the hustle of the city but just a few steps to everything you may wish to experience. The staff is attentive but discreet and ever so helpful. Every visit is a pleasure.

The best London stay ever!

As always, staying at The Stafford is like coming ‘home’. For me, it is the quintessential British hotel where one is welcomed beyond expectation. I was greeted like a returning guest, hugged by the wait staff who remembered me from previous visits and it truly was an amazing stay. I would not stay anywhere else in London!

A tranquil place with wonderful staff.

We love this hotel: it is a tranquil place in a central part of London. The best thing about this hotel and the reason we keep coming back is the wonderful, attentive and low key service from all the staff. We particularly love the service and the food in the lounge/dining room where Luca and his team go out of their way to provide a wonderful experience. The breakfast is the very best. Thank you for always making our stay such a pleasure.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. The staff and service were 10/10. Unfortunately the showers weren’t very hot and no bath tub in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. Full English breakfast was 32£ which I personally felt is a bit steep

Small hotel with excellent service. Popular bar and tea room take away from an otherwise tranquil atmosphere. Mews rooms overlook the outdoor seating area which even in November can be quite loud. Great location. Walk to everything.

I liked the nostalgic charm it exuded and the secluded, quiet location in a pretty alcove behind Piccadilly. The Nespresso coffee maker was challenging and eventually we gave up on it. Would have liked to have sone written instructions on how to use it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stafford, location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping and eating out. But the service level of the staff was the best - something extraordinary happened when we left the hotel with a taxi. Our son left his mobile phone in the lobby while we were waiting the taxi to arrive, which we did not notice. We got into the taxi, the taxi started driving and when we were two blocks away from the hotel, one member of the hotel staff stood outside the taxi while it was waiting in the traffic lights with our son's mobile phone with him. And it was raining heavily! Superb service!! We will stay at Stafford again when in London next time.
